Peter Cruz is from Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo,New Mexico and is an Native American Cancer Patient Navigator. Cruz is trained out of the George Washington University Oncology Patient Navigator program. Cruz offers navigational support to Native communities, facilitates screenings and engages with the community on cancer care initiatives. Cruz supports the New Mexico Early Childhood Education Tribal Advisory Coalition and is a Tribal leadership liaison for Tribes, Nations and Pueblos.
