Tribal Data Initiative

As part of our broader goal and mission at UNM NABPI, we are proud to announce our Tribal Data initiative. It is our intent to provide data and data resources that support Tribal advocacy, inform Tribal policy, and to assist Tribal leaders, policymakers, advocates, and the public in understanding the needs and challenges of New Mexico’s 23 Pueblos, Nations, and Tribes.

About the Data:

The UNM NABPI Data Books are four separate issues each focused on specific topics that include population demographics, health, education, and economic well-being. The inaugural 2024 Data Book is designed to provide New Mexico Tribal specific data. Each issue contains tribal, state, and national comparisons.

The UNM NABPI Tribal Dashboards provide an interactive overview of the most recent, most accurate, and policy-relevant data (at the time of publication) for Tribal communities in New Mexico.
