Crystal Gamboa
Qualitative Research Fellow
Crystal Gamboa is a community member of the Mescalero Apache Tribe. She is completing her degree in speech therapy at Eastern New Mexico University, where she is expected to graduate with a bachelor of science degree in communicative disorders. She also is minoring in clinical practice in ENMU’s Department of Health and Human Services. Her goal is to serve Native American children throughout the state. Gamboa is committed to supporting tribal health and education through research and photography. She wishes to document the lives of Indigenous children and families from behind the lens. She also supports NABPI with digital documentation and quantitative research initiatives.
