The Data Book

As part of our mission and part of a broader strategy to make data accessible to tribal nations and advocates state-wide,  we are proud to release the inaugural UNM NABPI Data Book.

The 2024 UNM NABPI Data Book is comprised of four separate issues each focused on specific topics that include population demographics, health, education, and economic well-being.  The 2024 Data Book is designed to provide New Mexico Tribal specific data. Each issue contains tribal, state, and national comparisons.

All data within the Data Book comes from secondary sources and was compiled by UNM NABPI. The secondary data sources include but are not limited to the U.S. Census, the American Community Survey, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and the New Mexico Department of Health.

We welcome your feedback as we develop additional data supplements and innovative tools to address the needs of our nations. If you have feedback, please contact us at: nabpi@unm.edu
